The Foot Specialist Doctor - Dr. David Mednick

Dr. David Mednick
Dr. Mednick was born and raised in San Jose, California. He graduated from Saratoga High School class of 1972. He then completed his B.S at UC Davis in 1976 and his M.S. in 1978. After working as a research biochemist for three years, Dr. Mednick entered the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and graduated in 1985. He then completed a residency program in podiatric surgery at Mission Oaks Hospital (now part of the Good Samaritan Hosptial) in Los Gatos, California.

Dr. Mednick has been in private practice in Milpitas, California since 1987. The second office on Cahalan Ave. In San Jose has been open since 1993. Dr. Mednick is a past president of the Central Coast Podiatric Medical Association. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a qualified medical examinor for the State of California. Dr. Mednick also serves as a expert reviewer for the California State Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Mednick performs the majority of his surgeries at the Silicon Valley Surgicenter while he is also on active staff at the Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose. He is board certified in fore foot, rear foot and ankle surgery by the Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also certified in Extra Corpeal Shock Wave Therapy. Dr. Mednick is married and has three grown children. He is actively interested in American and World history with a particular interest in the Civil War. He has studied martial arts including Kenpo JuiJitsu and Shin Kendo. He has a black belt in Karate. Dr. Mednick and his wife Johanna also enjoy ballroom dancing, gardening and hikes with their dog Kahlua.
